The National Sprayer Testing Scheme

Launched in 2003 as one of the central pillars of the VI, NSTS has become an accepted part of UK agriculture. It was designed by the AEA as a practical test to ensure that machinery could deliver pesticides efficiently with minimal environmental impact.

The NSTS protocol is a series of checks on application machinery to ensure that the machine is functioning correctly for the operator and the enviroment.
The NSTS protocol contains 47 checks on application machines.The first 30 the machine must pass in order to become certificated, the next ten are advisory and the last seven are optional.

We are fully authorised to carry out the National Sprayer Tests, which we carry out on site and at a time convenient to you by appointment. Saving you time and money.
